District 36 Music is an indie record label located in Kearney, Nebraska. The label works with artists who prefer to explore mixing multiple genres to make catchy originals or refreshed covers of timeless classics. The Artists
The Toad Funners
The Toad Funners are a Funner folk rock band from Nebraska, USA. They especially enjoy rocking out tunes that have been around for a long time. Mashing up a Christmas classic with a funky banjo riff, a simple violin melody, and a catchy dance beat is not unusual for this Funner trio.
Professor Hollman
A college prof nine months out of the year, Professor Hollman spends his time off campus bending and blending elements of rock, hip-hop, bluegrass, and blues into catchy stories from around the globe. With a 30-year catalog of unreleased recordings in hand, Professor Hollman spent 2023 re-recording, re-mixing, and re-mastering a handful of his favorite originals for his 2024 debut EP, Wanderlust, on the indie record label District 36 Music. With enough content in the closet to push out several more albums, Professor Hollman is anticipated to return to the studio in the summer of 2024 to begin work on his second EP on the same label.
